BlackVoices.com Seeks Summer Intern

BlackVoices.com is the number one portal for African Americans online with over 100 million pageviews and nearly 5 million unique visitors for the month of February 2008.
Blackvoices.com seeks an intern for its Life & Style section to program Web pages that pertain to Life & Style including content around fashion, beauty, hair, spirituality, health and other special projects. AOL will train the employee on its proprietary publishing programs and photo galleries, yet experience creating web pages is a plus.
Interns will also have a hand in the editorial process, vetting new material for consideration, brainstorming, and writing if they so desire. It's a great opportunity to learn about publishing and new media.
This paid internship (in New York City) requires that the candidate be enrolled in a full-time degree-granting program. Our interns are paid and can choose flexible hours based on their class schedules.
Please send resume, cover letter and clips to Angela Bronner ABronner4@aol.com. For more about Blackvoices.com, please see Blackvoices.com, BlackVoices.com/blogs and BlackVoices.com/life-style.
Knowledge of PhotoShop, blogs, and Lexis/Nexis a plus. Any history with any of the above categories (fashion, beauty, health, etc.) is also good.
